Parc-nature du Bois-de-L'Île-Bizard
Bois-de-l'Île-Bizard nature park is located in the central-eastern sector of the island of the same name. It offers breathtaking views and access to Lac des Deux Montagnes and the Back River. It is an area of interest for the history of cageux (large rafts used to transport wood in the 19th century). Its forest is made up mainly of maples, cedars and wetlands. The park is a favorite with birdwatchers.
