Beauséjour Water Sports Site

GUEPE manages this water sports site and offers introductions to kayaking and activities guided by nature educators in addition to kayak and canoe rentals. With our specialists, discover the secrets and treasures of the Back River (rivière des Prairies).

WATERCRAFTS AVAILABLE

• Single kayaks (1 person);
• Tandem kayaks (2 people).

GUIDED ACTIVITIES

• Introduction to Kayaking;
• Kayaking at Sunset;
• Rabaska Excursion;
• Bike & Kayak Circuit.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

• Ability to swim;
• Signing the Risk Acknowledgement and Acceptance form;
• Meeting the minimum age requirements : children must be at least 6 years old to board a watercraft, 6 to 11 year-olds can only be aboard a watercraft (e.g. a tandem kayak) with an adult, 12 to 17 year-olds can board a watercraft alone, but must be accompanied by an adult, themselves in a watercraft;
• Respecting the maximum number of people and/or weight capacity of the watercraft;
• No animals are allowed on board the watercrafts.

RESERVATION ET PAYMENT

Rentals and Introduction to Kayaking:

• On site without reservations.
• First-come, first-served.
• Payment by card only.

Guided activities other than Introduction to Kayaking:

• Online Reservations required.

Groups:

• We invite you to make your request by email by sending the information about your event to the following address: pleinair@guepe.qc.ca.
• We are only able to welcome groups during the opening period of the water sports sites.
• The terms and conditions remain the same as those of the rental service.

PLEASE BRING

For a safe and enjoyable experience, consider bringing a water bottle, sunscreen, a hat, closed shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather.

GOOD TO KNOW

In case of bad weather conditions (thunderstorms, high winds, etc.), activities may be cancelled and GUEPE staff will contact you.

It is mandatory to remain in the designated zone at all times.
