Introduction to Kayaking
Outdoors
This activity is intended for beginners. Please note that it will be held in French.
Learn how to handle a paddle alone or in a group and learn the basic techniques to be autonomous in a kayak.
INCLUDES
- Kayak;
- Personal flotation device (PFD) and water safety kit;
- 1 hour with a guide, 1 hour of autonomous practice for a total of 2 hours.

- Pierrefonds Water Sports Site : $ 25/person for seniors.
GENERAL TERMS
- Ability to swim;
- Signing the Risk Acknowledgement and Acceptance form;
- Meeting the minimum age requirements :
- Children need to be at least 12 years old to board a watercraft;
- 12 to 17 year-olds can board a watercraft alone, but must be accompanied by an adult, themselves in a watercraft;
- Respecting the maximum weight capacity of the watercraft;
- No animals are allowed on board the watercrafts.
GOOD TO KNOW
- It is recommended to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of your reservation;
- For a safe and enjoyable experience, consider bringing a water bottle, sunscreen, a hat, closed shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather.
- Please only bring items that can follow you on your watercraft. A waterproof bag may be useful. No lockers or changing rooms will be available on site.
